So in this episode we were going to start covering Slaves to Darkness. And then Sons of Behemat dropped and we didn’t want to wait a month to cover it. So then I sai, “Well, what should we discuss for episode 250, since we won’t be able to read and cover all of SoB in time to record?” We thought about it and then decided to just talk about picking an army. It’s something we all did/do/are doing/are going to do but I thought it might be fun to just cover why we chose the armies we’ve chosen over the years. Now, that really became us just talking about our armies and what we love about them, which I thought was great. We haven’t just had a seat at the mics and talked about the game in such a general fashion in a while. When we finished I was worried that there wasn’t that much solid advice on how to pick the right army for you, but if you’re listening to this show, you’ve probably already gone through the process and don’t need much help. If you’re new to wargaming, or maybe just AoS, I think we manage to get to the heart of why we choose the armies we choose by the end. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
Side note – Still working on the sound. Trying to get the soundboard set up and perfect and sometimes it’s a little off. Please forgive any sound issues that may arise during the episode.
