THE TITLE IS A LIE!

So we never make it to the Left Brain portion of the show. Sorry, but we got kinda wrapped up in everything else and by the time we realized it, we had gone the full length of the show without the left brain/painting discussion. So we are saving that for you in Episode 103. Sorry for any confusion, hurt feelings, or general sense of being deceived.

We do still have quite a full show for you. We cover all the usual segments, plus we have on Gary Luther to talk about the latest segment of the Circle City Circuit and Greg Dann corresponding from the U.K. about his recent tourney experiences. In between that we discuss our 4K War of Vengeance game between my Dwarfs and Chris’s High Elves. We cover our lists and some of the fun parts of the game, but we never really get into turn by turn stuff like we do when we play games on the show. This really becomes more of a discussion of Dwarf v Elf tactics as well as a discussion of what we think works (or doesn’t) when these two rivals take the field against each other.

Anyway, hope you enjoy!

So on this episode of Garagegamer we have on Sean Benson to talk about the basics of Wild West Exodus!

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Romeo’s (yes, Battlefoam Romeo) brainchild of alternate history is doing quite well. After seeing bits of it, (I’m totally playing Union. General Grant, Abraham Lincoln, and Nikolai Tesla? I’m all in on those guys.) I emailed Romeo and got an interview set up to let you all know about this game. I hope you enjoy it. If you do then you can find all things WWX at this website:   http://www.wildwestexodus.com/

Enjoy!

Ok,

So this episode covers tourneys, hobby and more big monsters. We also introduce a new game that Chris put together called “Would You Rather…” and it’s some good fun.

Also, I realized after finishing everything and uploading the episode that I didn’t put up the cool bumpers we got from the Dimensional Cascade Podcast. (We usually don’t have them so it slipped my mind to include them.) They will be on next episode.

Thanks to Kieth Jones (Khass) for letting us use his Cursed Ettin pictures for the show images.

Enjoy!

So here are all four Garro Audio Dramas brought to you guys by popular demand. We didn’t call this one 7 because this isn’t book 7 in the series. This is a side topic basically, and so those will be given letter designations.

Other than that, this was fun. I wasn’t happy with the depth of our discussion/analysis, but they were short stories and there just isn’t as much to sink your teeth into as a full length novel.  They are fun though, and we do talk about certain parts that cought our eyes.

Hope you enjoy this one! Please join the forums at garagehammer.net and let us know what you thought. Did we get anything wrong? Did we have a completely opposite view of an event? Let us know, and it might wind up on the feedback episode coming in a few weeks!

So here it is. Our 100th episode.  We talk about what we love best in 8th and what we hope for in 9th, and we have several friends on to hear their answers as well. It all makes for some interesting conversation, because just about everyone wound up with their own uniqu take on the strengths and weaknesses of the game right now. I probably could have cut things shorter…but I really likes where the conversations went!

Throughout the episode are bumpers and commercials sent to us by the listeners (one or two came in video formats and I didn’t have time to get those converted to straight audio) but if yours didn’t get played, we are sorry and I assure you it’s nothing personal. There’s no music throughout this episode because everywhere we break there’s just a ton of old clips and stuff.

And of course, there is the contestnado. All seven prize winners are announced during this episode! (Wait…did he say 7? Yes! Yes he did say 7!)

Sorry about no show index this episode but there is just a ton of stuff and I’m not labeling it all. Just listen and enjoy. You won’t be sorry and you don’t want to miss the segments with Greg Dann, Joe Rogers or Chris Broeska. They are a lot of fun.

Anyway, enjoy!

So here is Episode 99! We are Live at BitS for most of the show, with the last two segments being recorded the Monday after. We talk about the tourney in general, talk to a few of our friends who are playing in the tourney, and then do a quick recap of David’s tourney results. (5 games in 22 minutes or something like that is pretty good for David. Staying on topic!)

Also…Contestnado is still going on! We announced FIVE contests last episode and there is still time to enter! All of these contests will have the winners announced during our big episode 100 celebration (which also coincides with the fourth anniversary of 8th edition)! Ok so here we are with Episode 98! We are having a great time talking about the usual news and rumors and the toolbox, but then we discuss the contestnado (more on that shortly). After that we discuss a couple of entries in the Monstrous Arcanum that interest us both (complete with fluff) and how much we want to use some of these creatures.

So…Contestnado. We announce not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE contests!
